I can't recommend Bridgford Construction more highly. Chris and his crew exceeded all expectations. They did a complete kitchen overhaul for me, taking it down to the bare walls and up to a gourmet kitchen in 2.5 months. Here's a small sample of why I was so satisfied:

• They were punctual, arriving on time (often early) for every day of work.
• They were on schedule, completing the job on the original completion date planned despite several setbacks out of their control.
• They were neat. They demolished my old kitchen in one day, and I walked in to find zero dust, zero debris, as if it was new construction, not finished. I couldn't believe my eyes.
• They were honest. Completely open about the pricing, and communicative when my choices caused some necessary increase in project budget.
• They were trustworthy. My wife and I never felt the slightest concern with Chris and his crew on site, even without supervision. Even our cat was kept safe and sound.
• They were perfectionists. The finished result is amazingly well done. Everything looks perfect, beyond my highest expectations. They didn't stop at "good enough", but delivered outstanding quality.
• They were detailed. They anticipated minor construction details and planned ahead so later phases would go smoothly.
• They were thorough. They double-checked their subcontractors and held them accountable to a high standard.
• They were cost effective. Their bid was competitive and detailed so I knew the project budget.
• They were economical. Chris recommended where I should spend more, but also where I should spend less. Rather than over-designing to increase his fees, he recommended areas where we could save money efficiently.

I would highly recommend Bridgford Construction. Two of my closest friends have already used Chris for very successful major projects. You will not be disappointed.

Bridgford Construction recently completed a major living area remodel, including transformation of my kitchen. This included relocating the kitchen from the front of the house to the rear, inserting a skylight, building an island and adding all new appliances, lighting, other electrical, hardwood and redoing the family room and completing exterior paint. Chris, the owner, was exceptional--he worked extremely well with my architect, came up with suggestions for improvements, referred me to colleagues for mini-projects which would transform the living space.

Chris was extremely detailed, making sure that the work was done properly, and redoing little things that I might or might not have noticed. His attention to detail extended to having the outside painter lift the wisteria off of the awning in order to properly paint the awning! Despite delays with the city permits due to budget cuts and having to place some additional structural support in the ceiling, Chris finished quickly and efficiently.

Chris also has the utmost respect of his subcontractors--they paid him a lot of unsolicited compliments. I was not an easy customer--I was rarely able to be onsite because of my job and commute-- despite this, Chris worked extremely well with one of my friends who "project managed".

Bridgford Construction will definitely be handling my future home projects and I will heartily recommend them to anyone who asks.
